Is it safe to order parts from Canada?

So I found some threads on the Spy 5000m Alarm but the best price and one of only a few sources for them is in Canada.

kapscomoto.com

Anyone ever ordered parts from Canada? Any issues or extra fee's associated with the purchase. Will their quoted shipping price include everything?

E mail them. I ride carving snowboards, so I can choose to buy my stuff from either canada or Germany...I think you may pay a conversion fee of a few bucks if you use paypal, but guaranteed they've sold an item or two to an american, so they'll tell you for sure

I once purchased a stereo pre-amp from a business up in Canada I had to pay shipping and customs duty, on top of the purchase price of the pre-amp

Make sure you check to see if customs duty if any, is included in the purchase or is in addition to your purchase price.

I've had things get delayed in customs (not sure which side) for up to 2 weeks. There was nothing I could do but wait.

Just an update. I contacted the company and they said that there are no additional fee's associated and the shipping cost they quoted would get the product to my door.

As a Canadian, I find this picture highly offensive. That bear should be a polar bear.

But on topic, I've never had a problem ordering stuff in Canada

we don't bite. E-mail them. We here in Canada have to sometimes pay customs fees when we order parts from the states

Depends on how it ships. Sometimes theres that "Customs Brokerage Fee" added. Shows on ups/fedex site when they charge that fee.
