What @Triple Jim said about the $50 tachometer possibly being a little wonky makes the most sense to me tbh. Through a couple days of riding it does feel like the bike is noticeably smoother, more responsive, more sound than it was before I did the good old glass bottle and water sync.
When i had first turned the bike on with the bottles hooked up the one bottle emptied and was sucking air almost instantly and I had got them to be extremely close to the point that if there was a thicker liquid in there im confident they would have stayed leveled. I am still however going to try the techron/sea foam idea and if there really seems like there is an issue I will go from there. |

If the tach really is the only goofy thing, you might steady it by putting one or more ferrite beads on the bundle of wires going into it. Get the snap-together type and you can just snap them around the bundle.
