Wind Gap
So, last this past Tuesday, I finally had a bit of time to get out and ride my bike . After much more pain than expected, I got new tires on. I headed up into the Lehigh Valley for a nice ride + short hike and day to take my mind off work and school which were killer the week before. I rode up 611 from the PA Turnpike(which was beautiful btw) up to 78W and headed to the Appalachian Trail at Wind Gap. I hiked south up to Lookout Point and Hahn's Lookout at the top of the mountain, ate some lunch, did a bit more hiking and rode back.
Ride-wise the new tires felt great, braking feels somewhat different on the new tires, I'm going to take a look at that, but I haven't noticed any difference in braking power, just a different feel while the front brake is engaged, maybe the balancing on the front wheel? I took things somewhat slower on curves with the new tires, just to be on the safe side, but still had a lot of fun, and got a nice 200mi of riding that day. Here's a couple pics, I'm not a good photographer, but I like to at least get some pics of my trips |

Looks like beautiful country to ride in...especially after your new tires get scrubbed in.

Yeah, it really was a beautiful ride, I was enjoying a lot of it and only stopped for pics once I started my hike, riding next to the Delaware River had some awesome views too.
New tires were BT45s in the stock sizes, most of my riding is commuting and weekend trips. I'm liking them a whole lot more than the stock IRCs. Sadly today is a weather disaster in the Northeast:/ Otherwise I would've totally gone out for a ride today, there's a lot of places I want to check out and enjoy. |

One day (Hopefully) when I have a bike, I'd love to ride around during the fall. It's my favorite season.

Yeah, fall riding has been very enjoyable for me, not too cold, I'm pretty comfy in all of my gear, and the views are amazing.
