Exclamation Tail light works, Brake light NOT SO MUCH :(

Okay guys I have an issue on my ninja 250r. My tail light works fine, but my Brake light does not work at all for either Front or back brake, I have replaced the bulb, but that does not work, any suggestions?

I have looked at the fuse box and that seems to be in order, I have tried adjusting my rear switch but this is fine as only one filament is lit so its not like the brake is permanently on, I really hope this is not a short in the wiring as that will take forever to find...and Then I need to go buy a multi-meter, also help me ASAP please, this bike is my only transport...I have tomorrow to fix this :/ its my only day off

check the fuse, actually pull it, replace it.

they can be bad and not look bad.

verify voltage at connector for brake circuit.

if both switches will not activate it, you most likely have a break in wiring, or a blown fuse

The brake lights will be the two red wires and the tail (running) should be blue along with the black as ground. Check the connection where the 4 wires become 3 at the pigtail connection. Maybe it is loose.

For what it's worth, my 08 had an issue where the brake light would not light from using front or rear brake. I did fuse and bulb replacement, nothing. Ended up having a bad switch on front brake lever ($10 part) and my rear brack switch was out of adjustment.
