Which Color is Best and Why?

So since we all love to argue our favorite colors, might as well start a non-sensical thread!

I believe Red is the "fastest". In a different thread, someone brought up the fact that Ninjas wear black, ergo are the best/fastest. I will argue that the best ninjas were the Power Rangers and guess what color lead that awesome crew, RED!

green is the sexiest.

Blue. I won't argue it's the fastest (everybody knows Kawi green is), but it is the most awesome. Why? Because I drive a blue bike. And I'm awesome.

SSR's right Liber. The reason why all you see is red after an object moves away is due to the slower frequency red operates in the spectrum.

Science shmience. haha!

Well, by researching and by the fact I'll be getting the new white bike with the red and black on it, I must say the white bike are the fastest of them all. It only make sense too. They obviously painted it white because it's lightning fast. You know those stories where people swear they almost got struck by lightning? Yeah. That was a white ninjette. lol

I have a black one, and even though its hot (both literally and figuratively) I still like the blue ones more. The 09 se's (green/white/black) are sweet too.

Coming from a purely paint materials point of view, red would be the slowest. It takes the most pigments of any color to produce, which means a red bike would be heavier than other bikes. In the real world, the variance is too small to even notice. You might notice a few pounds on a car, but on a bike, it'd only be measurable in ounces. The flip side is that white takes the least amount of pigments and would be the fastest bike.

According to the original question, which is the best? The best is the one you like the most .

Wouldn't black require the most pigments? I'm no artist, it just seems like to make black you would need all the colors mixed together to produce black. Then again, I suppose it depends on what your primary colors are first.

Either way, Go Power Ranger Red! hahaha!

No, you wouldn't need to use all the colors to make black. For example, white & yellow wouldn't get used. Black is black. There aren't variations like red.

I would say a burnt orange with a black longhorn on it would be the fastest but since I done have 1 of those yet then blue is hands down the fastest the rest can fight for second place
