Out of curiosity, how many miles do you get in a weekend of CVMA?

Can't believe you're already thinking of Chuckwalla.

My body's still recovering from the weekend, and I'm STILL in the process of cleaning my bike, truck, clothes, bags, covers, tent, etc. of sand/dirt.

All I have been able to think about this past week has been how much fun that track day was...

Open session sounds great though I don't think I'm of the appropriate skill level yet, with the mileage on the ninja you could ride for hours straight!

Good to hear.

The adrenaline after a trackday/race usually stays in my system for 2 to 3 wks then it starts to taper down.

We need to get a vid of you riding so you can see how you're riding and what areas to improve on.

Isn't everybody here going on the 9th of March anyway before the races? That's a lot of tracking! You guys have fun - my corner job doesn't pay as well in the winters

I can help you burn money Dean!

No really though, if I wasn't about to blow all I have on school books, I'd love to do this as a means to try out the SV at track speeds and a smidge of extra practice before round 1. But alas. Next time

SV???

Girl, you already got your hands full with the 250.

Wanna know how I know you're not into monogamy?

Damn, Jon's psychoanalysis skills based on subtle forum posts is getting scarily impressive. Touche. Although this is coming from the guy who spent the last trackday rubbing up on a 600rr.... interesting

But but but still! I was riding the SV on the freeway yesterday and twisted the throttle aggressively just to try it and it was soooo much power so suddenly I just want to know how that feels on the track. Just once <3 And maybe if I'm used to going faster on a faster bike, I'll go faster on the ninja?

I've justified this all in my head already. No use questioning it

Maybe if you stop giving Kevin 2 for 1 deals, your profit margin will go up.

It is fun and you can get a lot of miles in a day. I think 170 was the most I did in a day. Probably best to do 3-4 regular track days before doing the Socal track day. You'll be ready when you feel you can hold your line and you don't freak out at someone passing you at high rates of speed.

Let's ride only discounts $10-$15 for racers.

I need to dial in for Chuckwalla, not another track. This is on my "B" bike for Cody if not Brian.

Pretty sure this bike's gonna be basic...nothing special. But something's wrong with the carb if not the engine. It's leaning out pretty bad and it idle just doesn't sound right to me. I can't figure out what's causing.

Damn, I forgot about the fork suspension. How hard is it to change the fork oil? Show me how! LOL

Yeah well I'm most likely gonna do Feb. 11th @ Chuckwalla w/Socaltrackdays. This way if I don't get it dialed it by then I can go again on Feb. 27th w/Motoyard. <--I have a free trackday w/Motoyard.

Have you ever been to LVMS? Dood, that track is fun as hell. Flat but fun!

Sadly, I can't afford to do 2 or 3 trackdays + Gas + food in Feb. That's way too rich even for Dean's blood.

Did you get my text?!

But it's VEGAS, Nem. You're surrounded by casinos. Just go win all that money back right after, and you can afford all of the trackdays. Duh.

This guy, I swear.

Whelp, looks like I'm riding on February 27th w/Motoyard since 2/11-2/12 w/Socaltrackdays was sold out. That's the thing about Socaltrackdays....you gotta buy those spots well in advance (i.e. a month or two) because they sell out fast since there are limited spots (35 or 45 riders...something like that).

Nice!

How much did you get it for? I'm still sorta undecided if I want to pick up a small trailer or buy a toy hauler.

I think it was a good deal for $1380. Included permanent registration, spare, and center choke.

What size toy hauler are you thinking of?

Damn that's a great deal.

As for trailer...I don't know...I'm still researching. I don't know if I want an enclosed trailer and put AC in it or just buy an older model toy hauler for cheap. Still researching.

Do you know Salman? He rides an Aprilla RSV4 and is friends with Matt and Sophia. He got a 6x12 (I think) enclosed trailer and put a portable AC unit inside thats powered by generators outside. It seems to cool down better than the larger RVs since there is less air inside. Remember Al's trailer last labor day? It was still effing hot in that thing.

Yup, I might just do this especially since restrooms & showers are being built as I type this.

But I kinda like all the amenities a toyhauler has to offer. Trust me...you won't be complaining when you chill in my toyhauler. LOL!

Now that you mention it... That 6x12 trailer is super crappy! You best buy the largest toy hauler you can find!
