suggest a video game

what video games are you currently playing?

what genres do you mostly prefer?

have you ever found a motorcycle game that is anywhere close to accurate?

FPS games never interested me at all. I'm into simulations -- the more realistic the better. Currently I play Warbirds, and online WWII multiplayer flight sim.

Am actually considering buying a console just to play Formula 1 racing games, which are essentially nonexistent for the Mac.

Long time halo fan here so any game in that series lol. Bought a black friday ps3 for $200 that came with a bunch of games but its mostly been collecting dust... Decided to pop in the first Uncharted game and its pretty good, makes you want to keep playing it to see what happens. Infamous is also pretty fun. For 360 I'm mostly on Halo 4 for Forza 4 and Horizon. Play a little bit of GTA and Skyrim when I'm feeling it too, but damn I don't have much time for video games anymore with school, work and a motorcycle lol.

I play mostly shooters and racing games. COD and Forza right now. But I do like SBK. I don't know what you mean by accurate for motorcycle games (I mean, I don't have to hang off my recliner to play it), but it's the only motorcycle game I've found that doesn't feel stupid, and on sim level it's quite fun and challenging. I'll spend 2-3 hours completing a race weekend, learning the track and qualifying and all.

Hmmm... now I wanna' go play SBK!

i guess by accurate, i mean a game that lets you toggle on counter-steering... when you are full tilt going around a corner, you aren't holding a stick or steering wheel or the bars in the direction of the corner you are going. you counter-steer to turn in, relax and gas through then pick up the bike with slight counter steering again... every motorcycle game i've played has been basically a car sim with a model that looks like a bike that leans back and forth completely unrealistically. i want real bike physics, not the ****** completely inaccurate crap they put in every single motorcycle game i've played.

I was playing Burnout Paradise on my 360 last night. I love that game always but I have extra fun with friends doing road rage/marked man races when we are buzzed lol.

Assassin's Creed series is damn good, as well as Prototype 1 and 2.

If you have kids and want something to enjoy with them, Mini Ninjas is a complete blast, even for adults on their own

I actually found the bike riding in Just Cause 2 (PC with Xbox controller) to be decently fun. It's obviously not a motorcycling or racing game, but I got a kick out of riding in the game, once I switched to an analog controller.

Weird recommendation, but Kid Icarus: Uprising has been the only "Wow this is a lot of fun hell yeah I love this game!" experience I've had in a long, long time. If you've got a 3DS I highly recommend it. Awesome gameplay, funny dialogue, interesting characters, and if the characters and dialogue annoy you, you can turn their voices off. Oh, and the online multiplayer is fun.

ahhhh, I loved being an 80s baby. My Pet Monster, Garbage Pail Kids, and of course, the original NES. I spent countless hours playing Mario, Zelda, Ninja Turtles and others I can't remember lol.

Not sure if we have the same genre of games, in the 90's i believe some of the most played games in Malaysia were Contra, Mario, Pacman, Street Fighter.

But the game I have been playing all this while are Diablo II (never liked the Diablo III. Not too sure why) and Skyrim.

Fus Roh Dah!

Funny reading this today, I just re-downloaded the demo yesterday. I tried the demo once a few years ago and it didn't seem very polished.

Is it worth the $40 they want for it? The campaign demo still didn't seem very polished and I could see the sandbox portion getting old pretty fast.
