Streetfighters aren't just bikes that get dropped and their owner can't afford to fix. It is an easy way to make a bike your own. I like my '00 with the fairing off and decided to make it work. And it's 100% stock; no aftermarket anything. True 'fighter.

Heres a link to my fighter. If you want more I will get to it when my cam batteries are charged (my camera is truly crap).

There are varying degrees of nudity...

Naked standard bikes/cruisers = Peter Griffin

Streetfighters / Buell / Some Ducatis / SV650 = Angelina Jolie after a few months in a gym...rawr.

Here are some fine examples of streetfighters.

True, a lot of streetfighters are born out of a crash, mine was, but that does not hold true for a lot of people with streetfighters.

Some streetfighters look good, but fairings always look better to me.. to remove them from a perfectly good bike (IMO) isnt a good idea.

Factory 'streetfighters', such as the Ducati, are really nice, but it lacks the individuality that one can provide if they build their own.

the sv has only 1 header, the ninja has 2 and the supersports have 4.
does it mean that the ninja has more power than the sv?
zx6r>ex250>sv?

All inline engines have 1 header...I think what your referring to is the number of pipes coming out from the cylinders. And as we know number of cylinders isn't always associated with power...just look at cars...there are some 4 bangers that make more power than 6 cylinders or even 8 cylinders(usually due to some type of boost) but no a sv650 makes more power than our 250's. And I don't have a picture of a 650 as I'm on my phone but I know they have more then 1 cylinder

zx6r has 100-plus hp..the ninjette around 30..and the sv650 has around 70. The sv has two head pipes..you just cannot see the second (v-twin)

That is the definition I've always gone by. Streetfighters = custom, always. From the factory = naked.
