I saw one the other day (it wasn't a 250), that was a half naked woman in the design of the protector... Though to be honest I wasn't to impressed...

(I was kinda put out by it but really I am sure the guy is real proud that he got a woman so close to his ... er... bike.. )

A tank pad is just something that you put on the gas tank to protect it from scratches usually caused by a belt buckle or something rubbing against the tank as you ride.

Another use for tank pads IMO, is that they make the bike look even cooler

Oh great, so I am not going to be the only one on here with this tank pad...

LOL, Joke Its all good, I think the pad goes well, specially cause there are parts of it that are clear, the green of the bike just makes the ninja on the pad stand out.

I have. My tank protector is from them. Just email them and ask about whatever item you're interested in and they will tell you how much it will cost and give you the shipping prices. They'll even set up a pay pal invoice so it will convert USD to yen for your payment.

Jael- if you're putting on an a-tech style one then 3m adhesive will work. You just have to play around with the placement before you put it on to figure out exactly how you want it and to try to eliminate as many gaps as possible. When applying it I found it works best if you press on the top first and keep applying pressure as you go down to keep it as flush as you can.

I'm guessing before??.. so that it's sticking directly to the tank, as oppose to a layer of wax.
