Pass Switch (high beam trigger)
Howdy all
Anyone know if the left bar controls from a 300 will switch over to a FI 09 250? I'm thinking of putting one on to get the pass switch, as long as I can get it cheap & it's a direct plug & play swap. I have no interest in cutting the wiring loom. 46091-0249 on the 300's parts fiche. Also has anyone trashed a 300 & gone to part it out? |

Good question. It can be a useful feature.

Yepp. In my experience, the driver is less likely to look startled when I pass them after flashing than if I pass them without flashing.
Downshift, flash-flash, signal left, pass, signal back to my lane, move on with life. Unless I'm passing on the highway. I don't flash there because drivers expect you to pass there. I flash on back roads where they're not likely to expect me passing. |
