Hey from the rain-soaked South East

Hello everyone!! Anothing Kkim recruit here. Thanks for having me. Let's see, a little about myself...

I'm a 19 year old female, 5'4" loves long walks on the beach and jazz music. Haha...

All kidding aside. Thanks for the great forum and great people. This group seems to be more tight knit than the ther forums and it's nice to be able to have conversations without starting flame wars. Anyways, I'm always looking to learn something from better riders or just go out and have a good time (you are paying, right?). Holla if you are in the area. Safe and fun riding eveyone!!

Aloha and welcome, Corey Beth!

Glad you decided to register and join in. The forum does have a bit less flaming... you can credit Alex for that.

And BlueTyke is right, don't get the non green owners talking about how fast their bikes are... they just don't realize how fast the green ones are and cannot bring themselves to accept and/or admit... poor souls.

I figure with the extra stealth built into the black bikes, we don't have to be any faster. We can just sneak up and BAM!!! (say it like Emeril does if it makes you happy)

I've been riding for... Since Dec. 27 of 2008. Though i've ridden offroad bikes since i was little, oh and atv's too. Actually was about to get engaged and my boyfriend didn't want me to have a bike. So, long story short, he broke up with me on Christmas Day and I didn't have a reason not to have a bike anymore. So I got it 2 days later when I was visiting a friend in Cookeville. I had been shopping for about 6 months and was going to buy from that dealer anyways, just kinda kick-started my goals.

I go by Corey but everyone gets me confused with a guy so when i first meet people I go by Corey Beth. But I don't really care what people call me. Now someone is going to make up a retarded name for me...

If you give them the chance Corey it wouldn't surprise me. Corey it is though!

Sucks about the BF it does become very complicated when that happens. Sometimes there is still an understanding that can be reached but sometimes... Its best just to ride.

I am fortunate that my SO (Significant Other) rides as well. Not as much as I do but he rides. (And no.. It's not Kelly either LOL )

Good thing I am a born and bred Californian and I agree! I am transplanted here due to my SO's dad being here and needing 'help'...

California is not any better... lol... I was born and bred in the South though, so we are a little slow in accepting Yankees and Californians. I'm trying though... lol

On a happier note, I was dying today so I just got back from a ride. I feel so much better. I can reast easy tonight. Oh wait, the National Championship game is on the night. I can't decide if I want to root for an SEC team and it be Florida or root for a non-SEC team and it be anyone else. Tough call... Any suggestions?

Must be nice! To cold here to ride!

Watch out though I hear there is a hord of Ravens fans heading down to TN for the playoff game..

I don't follow sports much at all but everyone around Baltimore is going bonkers for purple. I saw on the news they actually had purple mashed potatoes at a resturant!

Is that like the green river for St. Patrick's Day? Have you noticed how we kinda left everyone else out of this conversation? I'm full of questions tonight, it was a good day.

How's Hawaii treating you kkim? My dad said if I bought a plane ticket he'd go with me and pay for all of the rest of the stuff. Worth the visit? I'm trying to get to all the states before I... get old... lol. I've got like 14 or something left to go. I haven't counted in a while.

Well, I was going to say dead. So before I get dead I'd like to visit all the states. My goal was by the age of 21. That's coming up soon though. Who know, I may still make it. The only state way out of the way is Hawaii. Cruises are pretty cheap right now though so that may be an option. Also, I wouldn't need a hotel, I could just sleep in Kelly's garage next to the Ninja. Please, please, please!?!?!?!?!?

Geez... dunno if the GF would go for strange wimmim on the garage floor! Besides, have you seen my garage?!

I'd say take your dad up on the deal... the plane ticket would be the cheaper of the 2 options. Food, lodging, car rental and everything else is mucho expensive here. If you're serious, I can help with suggestions for things worth visiting while you're in the islands, depending on your vacation goals.

I'm not worried then, I plastered my walls with aluminum foil when I moved in. Also I have this nifty armadillo helmet that keeps out the alien waves. Unless, are you that crazy woman that lives next door to me? GET YOUR CATS OUT OF MY YARD!!!!!
