newbie here got lots of plans

im new to these forums and i have lots of plans for my bike and have found this site very knowledgeable with the new-gen ninja 250r. But anyway my name is Jeremy and i have a red 09 250r with just over 4000 km and stock in almost every way except that there is a basic fender eliminator.

I have plans of turning this little machine into a stunter/everyday rider, and i am doing this to the 250r cause of the cost of the machine is alot cheaper than your average "stunt bike" and i belive that i decent stunt/everyday rider can become of this machine without haveing to worry about wreaking/destroying a 10+k bike. So my plans arte to make a custom stunt cage(similar in style to freestyle inginuity), custom subcage (similar to sick innovations) new usd forks and tripples with corresponding breaks (still doing reaserch any help would be appericiated), new clip-ons, 05ish master and leaver (x2 one for front one for rear handbreak), new swing arm (again still doing reaserch on fitting r6 swing arm),bigger tires (unsure of front size just yet but most likely 150 rear), sprocket set ( -1, +2 maybe a bit more), rear set (still looking for something i like), new windscreen (hotbodies db smoked), flush mount signals (front and rear, or hotbodies eliminator and flush fronts), projector/angel eyes/hid retrofit headlight (custom), custom decal kit, and i think thats it....

any other suggestions welcomed

Welcome!

Sounds like you have the workings for a very unique bike there. I'm not into the stunt scene myself, but am all for breaking new boundaries with this bike. I have a giant list of mods for my bike as well, so I know how you feel :P

Welcome to the site!!! Sounds like you have a ton planned for your bike. You mentioned you picked the 250R for the cheap cost... after all you are talking about doing, it would be less expensive to buy an older 600 that is already set up for stunting... just a thought

I definitely don't have anything against modding the hell out of a 250R... I've obviously added plenty to mine... but if you are looking for an inexpensive bike and then mentioning all you did... might not be quite what you expected.

trure but i like this lil 250 and belive it 2 be easyer to find/make parts for it as opposed to buying something that someone else did there way not my way... lol im big on custom, stand out in a crowed kinda thing, not may people around would think of doing this to a 250 so its different to beging with, thats just my thought on it.

not to say that i will get it all said and done and not like i thought it would be but at least its still what i made it to be, if i dont like it i chage it re set things and keep going, modding a $5000 maching and breaking it (if such a thing would happen ) dont worry me as much as a 10+k machine if you understand what i mean...

thanks though i do appericiate it and i am looking for a 07-08 zx6r to do a similar thing but i wanna keep playing with this one for now, heck maybe ill try that ex500 swap and wont need the zx6r lol.
