Wires to Nowhere ...
Hi Guys,
I'm reviving an Y2K Ninja 250. The bike starts and runs. There are two wires (relatively heavy gauge) coming out of a wire bundle on the right side of the bike by the CDI. Yellow-black and white black. They end in connectors, but they're not connected to anything. There are two same-colored wires coming out of a wire bundle up near the headstock. They also end in connectors. What are they? Should they be connected to anything? Thanks,

I have a pair of 250's in my garage right now undergoing TLC therapy so that they can eventually be released back into their natural environment. Both have wires exactly as you describe. Sounds normal.

Thanks. Yours aren't connected to anything either? I wonder what they're for?

Thanks man. If you don't mind my saying, you kinda remind me of my mom. So righteous and caring.
