This made me laugh

So I went on Barnes and Noble's website to look up a book on indoor gardening.

Short story:
Quote:
Thought it would be a good idea to set up an indoor garden to have some vegetables available year round. That would help with cost savings and also I love fresh veggies. The only issue is that you typically can only grow during certain parts of the year. Well it was there I discovered indoor gardening that allows you to grow many veggies all year long in your window. This sparked my book search.
So, that is the cliff-note version of the search.

I typed in "indoor gardening" into the search bar on the B&N website. This is what I found after I sorted the list by "best selling"...
  • Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible
  • Marijuana Grower's Handbook: Your Complete Guide for Medical and Personal Marijuana Cultivation
  • The Little Black Book of Marijuana: The Essential Guide to the World of Cannabis
  • Marijuana Success Indoors: Garden Tours and Tips
  • How to Grow Medical Marijuana: An in-Depth Quick Grow Guide: with over 155 full-color photos/illustrations
  • Growing Herbs Like A Pro: The Complete Guide on How to Grow Herbs Indoors & Outdoors, and How to Turn Herb Gardening into a Profitable Business
  • GROWING HOUSE PLANTS Easily & Successfully all Year
  • True Living Organics: The Ultimate Guide to Growing All-Natural Marijuana Indoors
  • Don't Throw It, Grow It!: 68 Windowsill Plants from Kitchen Scraps
  • DIY Hydroponics

And that was only a few of the books the search came up with.

Hmmm...it seems there is a theme for what most people are interested in...

As a Californian... cool story bro.

Also, I had a gift card for the longest time to b&n and couldn't spend it. Any time I found a book I liked, I'd find it on amazon for a fraction of the price.

Anyway did you ever find anything relevant to your search? All I can manage to grow inside are pepper plants.

Well, having a Nook, I can read a sample. So I clicked on a few samples that I will read later on. There was one book that got a decent review for like $3. I may pick that one up just to look through.

I am also looking at online content related to the goal.

I did find this nice tidbit on Livestrong.com:

http://www.livestrong.com/article/19...ned_R1&LS-2659

Basically it states the best stuff to grow indoors is lettuce, green beans, radishes, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. Those are apparently relatively easy to manage. I may give it a go very soon with just one pot. I have grown plants from seeds before. It is kind of a pain, but now I know more about it, it should be much easier.

Try the tower. They use it at Epcot to grow amazing plants.
