So, did FortNine announce the Kawasaki ZX-25R?!
No, but FortNine’s Christmas Eve video was all about the Honda CBR 250RR until the very last few seconds when he reveals what what looks like marketing materials for a Western release of the Kawasaki ZX25R. Obviously, Kawi wouldn’t use a Honda to guerrilla-market the ZX25R, but, no doubt, Kawasaki is watching how we respond.

Hmmm, interesting... I was trying to import ZX-25R for months when it was announced in eastern markets... Had dealer that was going to take money-down to import one as track-only bike. Then saw specs and it was ho-hum boring... https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=339319
ZX-25R weights 60-lbs more and only makes 5bhp more than my MC22... And CBR250RR is under-rated due regulations @ time; most make more than that. Heck, Dave Moss's CBR250RR makes 58bhp @ rear-wheels! Alloy frame... dual disc-brakes... I'm not trading in my CBR250RR for ZX-25R any time soon!!! |

Interesting... Hope it doesn't weigh 60-lbs more than Ninja 400 for same power... That's currently best deal in small lightweights. Been kicking ass at races!

Lots more buzz about the ZX-4R recently. It seems Young Magazine has doubled-down and says the announcement is imminent for a 2022 release. Makes me wonder why Kawasaki didn’t announce anything at the trade shows several months ago despite all the rigamarole about new models for 2022 being unveiled.
