Engine holder - need ideas

I had a new-ish engine delivered today. When I got home, I found it in my garage, shrink-wrapped, and on my furniture dolly..... leaning forward. I'm really not happy about the pressure it is putting on the water pipe, and hoping there is no damage.

I'm looking for ideas of safely holding/storing the engine. I'm thinking of making some sort of holder out of scrap wood. Once this gets on my bike, I'm going to need to hold/store the old engine too.... other wise I wouldn't be as concerned.

I suppose that could work in a pinch. My preference would be something that would hold it upright that I could keep nicely in the corner of the garage, w/o risk of damage. IDEAL would be something that supports it securely w/o getting in the way of the mounting bolt holes, AND that is raised a little with a spot for rolling my hydraulic jack under.... that way I can jack it into place w/o ever moving it from the stand.

Hmmmmm..... If I can figure that out, I think we may have a new DIY coming soon. It seems like my most recent DIYs weren't quite mainstream, so I wouldn't want to break that streak

Now I'm looking for a 3d CAD model of our engine, preferably google sketch-up, because I'm feeling particularly nerdy.

I make a square box about the size of a shew box. The engine sits inside. I made three of them from a couple pieces of fence boards. Like 1x3 I cut two about a foot and two about six inches and screwed them together to form a rectangle .Drilling the holes so the wood did nott split.I can post up a photo tomorrow

Cool. I'm trying to figure out safe places on the engine to bare the weight on the stand.
