Johnny, I have a nail in my H2's rear tire (tubeless) that's been there for years. I don't know if it goes all the way through or not, but I'm not going to pull it out to find out until I'm ready to put a new tire on.

I was lucky... I bought a plug kit, priced tires an everything... Plug kit wasn't needed an the tires were on back order.

It could have went the other way though

Could be that it wore down to a place in the tire that the vulcanizing had failed and after a little more wear, got down to good vulcanizing again, "cut" gone! What ever it was, glad it fixed itself!

I guess I haven't tried linking pictures to the post, though on other boards where I have tried, I haven't had much luck. Here, I upload them to the board and post that way. There should be a way to copy the BB or HTML code into the post. There used to be, anyway, on Flickr.

Hey, what bike plugs into a Tesla plug?

i use an android phone, so i use apps. theres no bb code in the flikr app or the 500px. i know flikr has bb codes on their actual website, but who has time for that? guess ill just wait for photobucket to update their app again lol

that bike plugged in to the tesla charger is the only hydrid 300, it a prototype

I guess I'm a dinosaur, then, because I use websites instead of apps and I don't do anything from my phone. So I've used the copy-the-code thing to post pictures sometimes.

I can relate. Phones and phone apps are great. I use Copilot on my phone for GPS and map functions when I'm out riding and it's great, and the family uses a tracking app to find each other. But when it comes to composing coherent emails, viewing and manipulating photos, and browsing web sites, a phone is not a very good substitute for a computer with a nice high resolution monitor.

There, fixed that for you , though I would love to see the video if you actually activated the supercharger when connected into the battery on that bike.

And a keyboard. I can't deal with those touch-screen keyboards!

That shouldn't have any effect.

It's interesting how some bikes start differently after sitting for more than a couple of days.

I can understand how an engine with carbs could have issues due to fuel sitting in the floatbowls that could lose volatility, but with a F.I. engine that shouldn't be an issue.

My F.I. bikes always start right up after sitting over the winter with treated fuel, so 9 days shouldn't be much of a problem.

Some times cracking the throttle slightly while cranking a F.I. engine can help a cold-start problem.

i was surprised that the bike wouldn't start after just 9 days. I did have to use the throttle to get it started.

so, broken connecting rod/bolt at 1200miles, and a no start after a 9 day sit. i know what my next bike brand WON'T be!

May be fine, but not a very common tire.

You'd have to check sizes available, but Michelin Pilots, Dunlop Qs, and Contis (Motions or Attacks), have all been proven to be top performers on the street. Others have had good luck with Shinko, but for the cost difference I tend to go with the leaders.

the m7rr's have excellent reviews on revzilla, and some reviews on the web compared to the ones you mentioned. just wondering if anyone here had direct experience with them. i come across a lot of sand, small rod debris, and rain, and supposedly these tires are excellent for that

Could be a good choice for you then.

It's just not a tire that you hear much about, for whatever reason, when talking sport bike tires.

pirelli diablo III's are also looking good, but they only have 120/60 & 120/70 front tire size. whats the consensus on running a 120 front on these bikes, slower turn in?

Some people run 120's up front with no issues. With most tire models, there shouldn't be any rubbing. Handling/feel might be a little wonky compared to the 110/70, but nothing life-changing.

if i wind up putting tires on it before i sell it(highly probable), i will go with a 110 front if available when i make my tire choice. going with the pirellis over the metzelers because i feel pirelli would be a better selling point("NEW PIRELLI'S") to buyers due to popularity, even though they are the same damn tire lol

. . .and the bike is currently up for sale

its night and day comparison with these new Chinese tires. the grip is amazing, and im guessing the profile of the tires makes it turn in real easy, and it stays leaned over during the turn. boy should i have done this a long time ago

Going to do front brake refresh soon, going SS line, new dot4 fluid, and sintered pads. from what ive read, im not going with ebc hh, id like to go with vesrah or dp. vesrahs have awesome reviews, but could only find a few on the DP's. the DP's are a little more than half the cost of vesrah, how do they compare performance-wise?
