Biggest tire in stock swing arm

Hi everyone, I'm farely new to the bike scene, and decided on a ninjette. The issue I find is the rear wheel size, it seems a tad small (skinny) for my liking.

I'm hoping the community would help with some info on the largest size wheel and rims I could use on my ninja without having to do any modifications.

And secondly, should I worry about the rear wheel losing traction on turns on the stock skinny wheels? As that is my main concern.

And if I were to 2up on the ninja, should I invest in the larger wheel?

Thanks in advance

If you don't inflate it, you could probably get a 240 in there if you pushed really hard.

Changing the tire size is a cosmetic only thing. You will have nice and large chicken strips.

How does that 140 fit on the stock rim?

No, just use the stock tire sizes; our selection of tires for the stock sizes is good.

There is no point to using a fatter tire (unless if you need race tires that you can't get at stock sizes).

IE: Get the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II in a 140 rear and stock front.

It is not a function of too wide of a tire for the swingarm. Anything over a 150 is too wide for the rim and becomes dangerous because the edges pinch in. We run a 150/60/17 and it works well. worn to within 1/8" of the rear edge.

DO NOT use anything wider than a 160...

Are you wanting a bigger rear tire because of personal preference as you stated first? Or because you doubt Kawasaki's engineers and the bike's ability to perform on the tire size it was designed for, which you then said was your main concern.
