This pisses me off but at the same time is so damn funny. In that situation I'd be worried about the dude trying to push me over and eff up my bike. I honestly don't think I'd have the self control to not get off my bike and beat the dudes ass (I'm so tough) while having the advantage of full armor lol.

Hope the guy gets charges pressed against him though, what a freaking moron.

Did the guy NOT see the camera attached to the rider's helmet?? What a jerk, it didn't even look like the rider was taking off to race the VW!

I am puzzled by the biker stopping??? . If some one pulled in front of me slammed on there brakes and jumped out of the car. I would have ridden around the car on the right side. It was wide open. Who just sits there and let's some one walk up and smack em?

The guy will get a fine and his VW will break down. Haha bad karma to him.

I strongly support the feminist movement and say go for it. Equality !

But really. Either he was a puss or was in a good mood and had no idea wtf was going on. Sometimes I laugh stuff off that would send other people into a rage.

I have a feeling that those who are on the "Do you pack heat on your 250 beast?" thread would have a say in this.

...On second thought, better not mention it to them.

Well by saying sorry it's basically further evidence that he was not escalating the situation at all and puts all the blame on the VW driver. Smart move, considering the next thing he did was turn the tape over to the police.

I'll be honest though, it'd have been tough for me not to respond with that head-butt you mentioned.

I would have done the same thing. Mostly out of confusion. Happened fast and the biker didn't really even have time to understand what was going on or what he supposedly did.

I dont disagree the the rider did the smart thing BUT he had cause to defend himself. In a court of law it could be argued that the rider thought the driver was potentially going back to his car to get a weapon.

I have a simple rule..... you can get in my face and scream, you can cuss at me, you can wave your arms around like a mad man BUT the second you lay a hand on me in anger its FN on. NO ONE touches me in anger.

honestly i would have dismounted the second he got out of the car, and prepared to defend myself. an aggressive posture might just make him think twice about fighting you.
otherwise ride off to the right, and prepare for escape. since it will enrage him.

you'll have to make the decision in a split second.

I could immediately see he wasnt big, he didnt have a weapon, and he looked like a punk kid. I probably would have just rode away. Although this may have made it worse, not sure.

However id love to fist fight with him in the street... with my helmet, gloves with CF knuckles, jacket with armor and padding, boots, etc.... Would be an interesting fight in where unless hes good at getting in kidney shots, it wouldnt go well for him...

Id take a slap in the face like that just to go to to police and cause him legal and financial trouble. Thats more harmful than some bruises.

unless you can truly get away, he has a possibility of ramming you with his VW. which could be deadly.

i would probably trade blows before running.

thats probably the best option for regular people.

but i'm pretty heavy handed for my size.
used to break 2x4s and CMUs with my bare hands, and KO a dude with full face head gear with 10oz gloves.

i once threw my hat at a marble statue and knocked its head off, and crushed golf balls with my bare heads.

when you know you could easily put someone on the ground its pretty easy to keep your calm. that being said i would most likely have simply followed him to his destination and then butchered his car after he left. instant karma right?

lol at all of the macho man responses. I'd expect that type of nonsense talking on a Gixxer forum, but not a 250 forum.

Unless you want to be seen as just as much of a hot-head, idiot, jackass as he, just move on. The only reason others (woman in minivan) were concerned for his safety is that he didn't retaliate.

A slap to the helmet didn't do you any harm. Be the bigger man and walk away. Press charges so this guy understands he can't keep doing stuff like that.

Good for that rider! I would have been so baffled if someone had done that to me. What would have been going through my head would be, "really? that just happened??"

Since the VW guy hit the rider, that's considered assault right? Or is it battery? Idk exactly what to call that. He just walked up and hit him...
