Rear Suspension Lock Up??

OK guys, my rear sus. locked up earlier today, any insight is highly appreciated. Ive search the inter-web and found that it could me the linkage bearing in the swing-arm thats being pissy. if thats what it is how can i get to em and fix em

If your feeling handy you can try this, it's for the KLR650 but the suspension is the same as the Ninjette.

give it a quick look over for anything obvious. then remove it and look at it again. If nothing glaring that is easy to fix just buy a used replacement for like $25. I think the new gen shock is a direct swap but performs a little better.

If completely and suddenly locked up, rather than the articulations, I believe the problem may be in the shock absorber itself.

Buy used one in e-bay and replace.

If you remove the top bolt holding the shock absorber and the Unitrack mechanism and arm swing freely, it is the shock absorber.

All the articulations may need a good cleaning, rust removal and fresh grease.

Follow the work indicated in the links of post #2 above.
