Suggestions on Rear Caliper Hanger Mods for Racing?

Im in the middle of stripping and servicing my bike for the winter break getting ready for 2019, making service mods and repairs.

One of the things I hate most about the Ninja is the rear caliper hanger and the caliper during tire changes. I currently have it safety wired around the swingarm which helps hold it in place a little but doesnt work as well as I would like.

Does anyone have any suggestions or images of mods made to the hanger or swingarm to help retain the hanger during changes? Im pulling the swingarm to replace bearings so there should be some possibilities.

Im thinking make a slightly longer axle block, make about a 8mm slot extending past the current axle slot in the swingarm, and basically bolt the hanger to the axle block.

Hmmm, I don't have any issues with brake. I slide axle in from right-side and it keeps caliper holder in place while I slide wheel up. I was thinking along similar lines, but instead of bolting, I would just drill holes through both and use locating-pins/dowels.

Another thing I was looking at was making new caliper holder to place caliper under swingarm. Then I can install swing-arm brace on top.

I also slide the axle in from the right, but it always seems the hanger gets knocked off the guide or the axle spacers get knocked off the wheel. The pin is a better idea than a bolt, that way it could be removed easier.

I was thinking about it and may have came up with a solution that will not require modification of the swingarm. By enlarging the ID of the hanger and the axle block I could turn down a sleeve that could go between the axle and the hanger and axle block. Where it goes into the swingarm/axle block it can be flattened at the top and bottom so that it will slide in the existing slot of the swingarm. This will limit the forward/aft adjustment but will not require modification of the swingarm.

I did find this thread:

But that does not seem like a great solution as it would allow some misalignment between the hanger and axle block, you would still have to line them up with the axle too.

Slot the caliper bracket where it stradles the slid on the swing arm. Find a stepped bolt to retain it to the swing arm. The caliper and braket will now stay with the swing arm with the wheel off and still slide for chain adjustment. Ill see if i can grab a photo of mine, bikes stashed for a few months.
