TRIUMPH is offering test rides on the new Tiger 800 range at its National dealer launch this week.

The British firm says it will be unveiling the new XRx and off-road biased XCx model at 6pm on Thursday 29, January, at Triumph dealerships.

The new bikes now come with standard fit traction control, switchable ABS, Ride-by-Wire throttle and three riding modes ‘for smoother power delivery and lighter throttle response.’

Using a tweaked version of the previous model’s three-cylinder engine, the 94hp 800cc motor now delivers 65mpg (up from 55mpg), according to Triumph.

The firm said the upgrades give the new bike ‘one of the most involved riding experiences out there.’

Triumph’s Tiger 800 range starts from £8,499 on-the-road.
