Been in Maryville TN right by the 411/129 split for months now guess I'd better subscribe for updates. Also have a bike trailer and good garage facilities (not to mention plenty of pregen parts) if anyone needs help near the Dragon.

Wow awesome this is looking fun! Hey just remember in best case scenario I'm on a bike twice as big as I'm used to, this is a nice easy ride, right? If I can get a brake light working I'm in for sure.

Deal's has been empty last couple times I've gone. Early am seems best.

Also when I'm not taking it easy I'm really slow.

Oh man, I may be down. I was planning on getting into town on Saturday, but I can do the late night push on Friday night so I'm ready for Saturday morning. Was planning on hanging with a friend on Sunday.

I'm good at riding my own speed, this road will be trial by fire for a rusty rider though

Do we want to go ahead and say Saturday morning since it sounds like Sunday is out for Chris? How early is too early?

I'd suggest meeting at Brick Mill Market (4.5 miles past the 129/411 split at the corner of 411 and Brick Mill Rd). And be ready to be on the road by, say, 7:30 or so? If anyone wants to show up early and hang out they have a good breakfast there but there is nothing fast about it.

Where ever is fine with me, Brick Mill is under 2 miles from me. And I'm good with starting later, really whenever everyone can make it.

some timing changed on my end and I won't be able to head south until Saturday morning, not Friday evening like I'd hoped. 7.5 hours of driving while tired in the dark doesn't sound like a smart plan to me.

I am planning on Sunday. Wont be home at all tonight to put the last touches on the bike to get it road worthy so i will during the day on saturday and be riding sunday. Hope i can still fit in my leathers

Well, didn't quite make it to the end, got to about mile 8 and pulled off to warm up my hands (it was COLD), went to start it and battery was pretty dead. No charging system on it just yet lol, but the battery is new and just came off the charger.

Bump started it and it had plenty of juice to get home. Probably would have been fine but I won't attempt the dragon again until I get the stator replaced.

Passed a group of 6 or 7 bikes, maybe 2 or 3 lone riders, and a couple mustangs, it was pretty quiet this morning.

Anyway here's a pic before I left.

Didn't do a whole lot yeaterday, spend all morning getting my brake light working then rode a bit around local back roads, took my 7 year old out for 10 miles or so too.

You (pedal) ride that south Knox park? Should be a good day for human power.

Nah, I pedaled a closed section of the Parkway. Was a really nice day for a ride. but my legs are so not in climbing shape right now.
