Tag light blown: Replacement?
I don't see a DIY for doing this with the stock fender and any search for "tag light" "plate light" or whatever returned page after page about fender eliminators, undertails, plate relocators, etc. Basically, before I tear into it, I need to know what bulb to buy. Thanks!

Although I do have to say an 1156 looks like a tight fit now that I look at the housing

It does fit. My plate light blew a long time ago, replaced it with a festoon-type LED, that died and I've since swapped back to standard 1156 filament bulb, the only remaining stock-type bulb on my bike
