I'm not sure what you want. You know what part you need. You want us to google and find the part for you? You can do that yourself.

Are you posting because you want that part? Post in Items Wanted.

Asking for a more detailed explanation as to the cause of why that bolt came loose? That's fair. Just be a little more specific.

Of course i've searched for it, with no luck. All i was meaning to do is get help locating a place to purchase one from people who know their way around the internet a little better. Thought that would've been obvious being that that is a semi-vital part.

According to the OEM parts list, that's a generic, small flanged bolt, likely a 6mm (i.e. takes a 10mm wrench). The parts list doesn't specify.

It can easily be replaced by a same-size metric bolt from the hardware store. If a flanged bolt cannot be found, just use a regular bolt and a washer. Use Loctite to keep the loss from happening again.

Frankly, you could probably just use a zip tie or some safety wire and be fine. This is not a critical, highly stressed fastener.

If you must have OEM, though...

Try Googling "OEM Kawasaki Parts". You'll get a lot of online retailers.

Here's one: http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oempa...906c4/radiator

You'll note that the bolt is $1.99. The shipping will probably be several times that.

Seems kind of silly to me.

How about visiting your local dealer? No need to make this harder than it has to be.

Cool

You can find that bolt in Home Depot and Pep Boys, at least.
Both have drawers identified with the size that they contain.
Look for regular steel, the type of head (hex or Allen) is non-important.

A flat washer wold help if you cannot find the flanged type in that size, or several washers if you cannot find the specific length and have no way to cut it off and then fixing the thread.

Look for M6 x 0.75, which is a metric bolt.
Those are external diameter and pitch of thread in millimeters.
The length of the original is 12 mm, measured from the base (not the top) of the flanged head until the end of the threaded part.
If not flanged type, consider the thickness of the washer and subtract it from the actual length.

When installing it, insert it by hand and feel any resistance that may be caused by damaged thread in the engine (loose bolts sometimes damage the female thread due to vibration) or excessively long new bolt.
If damaged is felt, quit torquing the bolt in and use the proper tap (M6x0.75) to clean the female thread.
