How long have you had your Koso gauge?

Just curious about the longevity of the 250R koso gauges. I've had the universal koso speedo on my bike for nearly 12k miles and it stopped working. That's just over 1 year of riding for me. Since I'm not going to shell out more money for a product that can't last a year, I'm curious about those expensive $400+ units. If the OEM speedo wasn't 10% off, I wouldn't even care. At this point, I know my speed by my RPM, but it bothers me all the same.

The new speedo cable attachment with the 250 harness is actually pretty accurate now. I haven't tested it with one of those speed trap radars yet but it's for sure better than the original gauges at the very least. Oh, and I'm on day 2 and 40 miles for my Koso

I've had mine now for about a year. ~8k on the odometer. No issues to date.

I first installed my rx2 in 2008. I spun the needle off the tack ( don't ask) and bought a new one last year. The customer service is great. But the repair time will be long. I would send it to them in late fall so you have it back in time for spring.

I looked up on their website for warranty info and couldn't find anything. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble to have fixed.

My question would be about the fuel gauge. How well does it work and how did you wire it up or is it plug n play. I am very interested in one but heard the fuel gauge jumps around. I am also converting to ecotrons efi, so if anyone has efi and a koso your info would be great.

So far I've discovered on mine the fuel gauge while on 100 ohm resistance is pretty off, it will register empty on about half a tank and fluctuate wildly. I now have my Koso gauges set to 530 ohms resistance and it seems to be working much better, but I have yet to run the bike down to an empty tank on the 530 setting so I can't speak for its accuracy quite yet.
