Question Rear shock set to high (rear wheel slipping)?

A shop was supposed to adjust my shock only part way up, but they set it up to 5. I'm 190lbs and it feels as though at high speeds on the interstate that my real wheel is "slipping" or not holding traction.

Is this normal? The tire had good tread.

When I sit on the bike, the rear end goes down <1" maybe 3/4"

Normal.... hmmm maybe. There are a lot of factors there. Bump it down and take another ride. I only have mine on 5 while at the track. 3 is my street setting. 190 fully geared up with rosso II tires at 31/32 psi.

I only feel it when I'm in a turn. I tried for so long to move it down and I can't XD

I think I'll take it to the shop and ask them to move it to 3 or 4. This thing is really stuck on there hard, or my wrench is messed up from it slipping and falling on the ground so much

Oh! your the guy that has the stuck shock. My bad. Yea, suspension that is too stiff can yield a feeling of loose traction.

Ouch, yeah I want to get this fixed ASAP then. I really don't like that feeling, plus the suspension is very hard on my bum. I rode on the interstate today and I was really nervous when it felt like that in the wind in a turn at 70 MPH
