Shenandoah on oct. 26th

Anyone interested in riding this twisty as hell track, the day will be run by rodger lyle's motorcyclexcitement so it's a fairly cheap day at $175

I'll be riding in the novice group

Hey dudes,

I'll be at Shenny with N2 on the 27th; so if you decide to go Saturday instead, lemme know and I'll keep an eye out for you.

alright I'm looking more into n2, how strict is their tech examination?

The biggest factor between which of the two I do is how practical is it to spend my money now or later though

Hmmm. I'm not the best person to ask, as I've always tech'd a new bike with them. It doesn't seem like they're out to get you, but I'm not sure. Is it tires that you're worried about? They have told me that how strict they are with tires depends on your pace, so novice pace they usually cut you some slack. You might look into whether anyone will be there on Friday night to pre-tech you?

Do what's good for you, but it would be cool to meet up!

I'm probably sticking to the oct 26th, easier to justify financially due to more time saving specifically for the event.

As for tech concerns, I've been told by both orgs that I've ridden with that there are a few minor concerns but they'd let it slide and while I've addressed them they still aren't ideal. The throttle doesn't snap back very quickly though it's not really an issue to me and the footpeg adjuster appears as though it has a loose bolt though it's really just too long so it doesn't go in any further

Lube your throttle cable, ensure the cable is not pinched or crimped and/or trim up your grip to allow free movement. Those are the main causes of a slow throttle recoil. Fix it now because fixing it in the paddock will suck.
