Frame Material?
Rq, Is the frame steel or an alloy of some sort? It isn't magnetic so I at least know its not 100% aluminum.

I'm not sure what you mean. My '05 250 has a steel frame, and a magnet sticks to it. As a rule, steels are alloys of iron and other things like carbon, chromium, vanadium, nickel, etc. Steels like what's in our frames are ferromagnetic (able to be magnetized).

Not gonna lie, I didn't know steel WAS an alloy. Feeling kinda silly now. That's all I needed, thank you!

No problem, John... there's plenty of stuff I don't know too. Essentially all metals used for production of things we use are alloys of some sort.
