Fun Little 250R vs Hyosung Comparison

Link to original page on YouTube.

Enjoyed watching this.

Interesting comments about the stock 250R tyres.

I can sometimes feel them losing traction in the rain, but i didn't have a problem during normal riding.

Then again i really don't have anything to compare them to...

I saw the Hyo in person, and I have to say, it looks pretty badass. But I'd still rather have a Ninja.

The Hyo looks really nice in pictures, but so many say it's a low quality bike. The Ninjette looks good and is good quality.

Anything that has rust problems is not suitable for the UK.

Saw & sat on the Hyosung GT250R @ the motorcycle show, I'd have to admit the bike looks great. It looks & feels bigger than our ninjettes, the seat is a little big higher. Not a fan of Hyosung, our ninjette is just too gorgeous, I'd prefer our ninjette any day. Here's a pic I took at the show:

Just wait until you get new tires... (Assuming you don't go with Roadwinners again) I had pretty much the same mindset as you before I changed to Pirelli Sport Demons. The difference is as amazing as it is startling that Kawi would put such a terrible set of tires on a bike that is directly marketed at beginner riders.

Aside from the quality issues that the Hyosung has there are 2 other things I don't care for on that bike. Personally I prefer having a 6 speed tranny vs having a 5 speed tranny especially on a "sport" bike. Also that digital dash they are using looks like it's from the 1980's and it's near impossible to read if the sun shines on it. And yes, I've also seen them in person. Still not overly impressed.

Give it equal quality control, an updated digital dash, and a 6-speed tranny. Then it would be an even better competition to the ninjette than the CBR.
