For most of them you can simply just connect the wires with wire taps. For example you can tap the LG/BK wire with that of the gauge (corresponding to whatever the manual says). If you want you can go all out and make a harness on the guage that just directly connect to the stock one. As far as I know the 2008 doesn't have a Coolant/Oil temp that sends a signal for display. You may have to buy an oil/coolant sensor. Maybe the manufacturer sells some. Nice guage though. Wish I would've seen it when I bought mine. |

you dont really need any parts, unless you want it to be clean wires and not one big clusterf*ck then you will need to buy an 9 male pin connector, 3 male pin connector, and male pins. It would be alot more convenient to do that then soldering the wires just in case you want to move back to your old gauge or a newer one. You will also need to connect the right wires which should be easy with this guide:
Oil: Blue/red (my Speedo had everything but the oil pressure... So that was empty on my connector) High beam:red/black (in other 3 pin connector with the right turn signal) N:light green Speed: On cable for front wheel water temp:red/yellow fuel:light green/black left turn:green right turn:grey(on different connector with the High beam (3pin) ) back light multiple colors but in my case i didn't need that because mine ran on one led circuit. power -:AKA ground wire black/yellow power+:brown or red/blue (you can use either one) In my case i only needed one power + not many becuase mine was led and didnt need all those back light wires my original speedo had. Just one led light altogether on one wire. rpm:black spare power(power that is always connected to battery): You need to make your own, its very simple. Grab a wire long enough to go from your speedo to your battery and on one side put a connector for the harness and another a connector for the battery.
