it sucks but sh*t happens. could have been worse (hit by incoming traffic or fall off a cliff). just grateful i survived to ride another day

Ya, I missed going off a 30 foot embankment by less than 2 feet last Saturday
like they say, any crash you can walk away from ....

Ah man, dude that SUCKS!!! But glad to hear you have a witness on your side and that you're okay. And I'm sure the Vicodin helps ease the pain.

And good to hear the guy apologized (not like that really solves anything) but when I was 18 I had a guy on a one way street make a left hand turn in front of me as we were both traveling the same direction (obviously) on the same street. I was in the far left hand lane, he was in the lane to the right of me and just make a left hand turn in front of me which clipped my front end and flipped my car over totalling it. He blamed the entire accident on me..... asshat!!

Best of luck with the recovery and the bike repairs.

Hey, at least the geezer apologized. That's more than a lot of the riders who've crashed recently got. Hopefully he also made some self-incriminating comments to the police that responded that were noted in the police report.
