Newly installed integrated front turn signals.

I just installed some integrated front turn signals on my 2007 250!

The adapter plates are made of clear 1/8" plexiglass, spray painted black on the backside. The turn signals were $12 off ebay from china. I had to drill 2 holes in my fairing to fit them. I hope they are bright enough! They are bulbs not LEDs.

The plates were made by this very nice guy who goes by n4mwd here, who made this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hbh...ndex=7&list=WL

He made them for just the cost of the plexiglass and even shipped them to me for free! Altogether, cost was $12 for the signals + $18 for the plexiglass + $8 for a drill bit and fasteners = $37!

Nicely done sir, I was thinking of doing the exact same thing for mine.
I can personally recommend CREE LEDs for replacement of the regular bulbs.

I used a pair of switch back CREE LEDs, they are bright white in running light, and change to amber when used for the turning indicators, automatically.

SIDENOTE: I also replaced the amber reflectors on the front fairing with amber flush mount LEDs indicators.

Interested in just the amber CREE bulb, not the switchback. I already have wired my bike for running lights with a relay to blink off/on instead of the standard on/off of the turn signals.

Links to product used? What about any wiring changes you had to do to make the switchback work?

No wiring changes needed, they do it automatically.

I'm curious how/why you did your running lights like that, I just spliced into the taillight to get my running lights.

Here are the CREE LEDs I used due to housing size.

Are these just plug and play replacements for the bulbs?

Yes, assuming that your wiring is stock/OEM style

As I said I tied my running lights into the rear taillight.

Ran power off my licence plate light to power running lights through a relay. The input from the turn signals switches the relay. This was a couple years ago and I couldn't find any decent switchbacks, so I just made amber running lights that flash as turn signals. Works for me.

I followed the wiring diagrams from this:

You should LOL

SIDENOTE: all my bulbs are CREE LEDs, except the headlight, that's a HID conversion 55w/5K

I didn't HAVE to, but I did just to make it easier! I do think I wired them incorrectly, with the dims though, after seeing them in the daylight. I need to go back and try again I guess! Good thing I haven't soldered them yet!
