DONINGTON PARK, Leon Haslam and Arai Helmets Europe are giving away the opportunity to design the helmet that will be worn by Leon Haslam at the Donington Park WSBK round.

Leon Haslam traditionally wears a one-off design at the UK round of the championship but has this year decided to open a competition up to the public.

The winning design will be used on Haslam’s helmet for the entire weekend, including the race in front of thousands of spectators and a worldwide TV audience.

The winner will also receive a pair of tickets to the main race day of the World Superbike round at Donington, where they will be presented with their own replica of the helmet by Haslam himself.

Haslam said: ‘I’m very excited to be launching this competition in association with Donington Park and Arai Helmets Europe. I’m really looking forward to seeing the creativity of the designs, and can’t wait to see what people can come up with!’

The winner will be announced at the opening round of the 2015 British Superbike Championship, which will be held at Donington Park on April 4-6.

The deadline for entrants is March 23, 2015.
