Let's see... my list goes way back.

1. Chevy Corvair – The car that made Ralph Nader Famous http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Corvair

2. 195? Rambler… had a fold down bench front seat…

3. 196? Pontiac Lemans w/ a 318 (think GTO) (Blue)
http://www.tjsamericanhotrods.com/im...Top/index.html

4. 1973 Datsun Pickup (White)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datsun_Truck
Put 111,000 miles on it ‘Swooping” (Marines will know that term) from Cherry Point to Upstate NY

Se pics below
5. 1976 Datsun King Cab Pickup (Mustard) First shot at “customizing” – Mag wheels and wider tires.
Ditto on the NY swoops and then to Chapel Hill to woo my then girlfriend (now wife of 31 years),
pulled my 16’ Hobie Cat all over the Carolina Coast and all the way to Lake George in NY

6. 1980 Datsun 200SX (Black – the fastest color – ASK Jiggles)
And my first AUTOCROS and Road Rally car. Courted my wife and she started driving it when I bought myself a
7. 1983 VW Gti (Black – ditto) AUTOCROSS and ROAD RALLY car. Wish I still had it. It was the most fun to drive.

8. 1985 Audi 4000S Quattro (White – bought it for the wife – with RED LEAT?HER seats) This car would go anywhere,
took the wife to work 40miles round trip and the kids to day care. This was an extremely satisfying car to drive.
Fast and comfortable… another one I wish I still had.

9. 1986 Chevy 2500 ¾ ton Silverado 4x4, 4speed Work truck... would pull stumps

10. 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT - Still driving it.
287,000 miles, leather, heated seats, loaded…
NEEDS some work.(anybody got a six way adjustable gray leather heated seat?) It’s been a workhorse for me…

That’s all of them (except the wife’s MINI VANS – a Dodge Caravan and an Olds Silhouette)
Thinking mini cooper for the next car.

I love my little Acura RSX Type-S. I have worked the entire car. Have done several motor swaps in it, custom trans, suspension, and much more. Right now it has a comptech supercharger with aftercooler setup and a K24 motor making 324/220 to the wheels. I was running a Lysholm supercharger which made 407/300 to the wheels. For a 2800 lbs car it's quick and fun to drive yet stealthy to most eyes.

Here is my site which has a little bit about its life.

I see your in Memphis. You don't happen to ride with the Mid South Sport Riders by chance do you? I lived there in the 90s and rode with them a lot and we held a lot of track events and such at the Memphis motor sports park before the big remodel.

Had that problem (ceiling fabric) with the 96 Dodge Ram. Tried everything from velcro to that fabric glue thing that's "as seen on tv". Only thing that did the trick was real fabric glue in a tube.

I'm still scratching some off the pair of jeans I wore that day. It's been a year and probably 25 washes

Looks great! Dumb question here: the RSX-S was basically a Civic Si with nicer interior right?

Kinda like the TSX is an Accord with the fancy AWD system?

Yes that is correct. I was sad when they said the RSX was discontinued after 2006.

They share the same K20 engine as well.

With my car I swapped in a tsx K24 years ago. What's funny is that in 2012 Honda finally put a k24 in the civic si.

The TSX was historically the European accord. It didn't share as much as one might expect with the US-model Accord, which is quite a bit larger in most dimensions. I don't believe the TSX was ever offered with AWD, I thought that the only Acura sedan with AWD was the RL.

Maybe I'm getting confused with them then. That's why I asked; I really don't know much about Acuras I know some cars, but I'm hazy on stuff like that.

I just know I see commercials for Acura's and they babble about their SH-AWD or whatever that is, and it's funny because they look like accords.

Oh nice! Small world. I actually don't ride with them. My good friend went out with them once and didn't have that great a time. Apparently they are crazy. Even a guy who works at Cycle Gear told me not to go ride with them. I guess they aren't the safest group of guys to ride with. Haha. I don't know what they were like in the 90's. Hopefully a lot different.

And no (motorcycle) track days at Memphis motorsports park which is now called Memphis International Raceway. The road course hasn't changed under the new owners. They really need to make a new road course out there, I mean they have plenty of land but I guess it would cost too much. I know NASA and SCCA hold track days but even those don't have that good of a turn out. I can't imagine that they could even get enough motorcyclists to hold a track day out there. I could be wrong but there are way better tracks within about 5hrs from here. Even if they did, I probably wouldn't go. That track sucks. It hasn't been paved in many many years and looks pretty rough. If they built a new track I would be there in a heartbeat!

Wow sounds like the MSSRs have changed a lot. I used to have a great time with them on weekends and such. We would ride to Arkansas for the day or weekend and put together track days at Memphis motorsports and alway had 100+ riders min. Sounds like a lot has changed in a sad way. I have some old pics of me rolling under the old Winston cup bridge that crossed the track some where.

Man, sounds like those were great times. I wish things were still like that here. I hope to get out of Memphis once I graduate from college.

Oh and that bridge over the track is still there. I bet that is a sweet pic. So how did you like the track? I feel as if there aren't enough nice turns and I dislike how the drag strip is part of the track.

The track was in good condition back then but coming on to the drag strip from under the bridge was alway hairy. I had one bad high side there but missed the wall some how. The track was close and affordable so I made due only limited funds. I always dreamed of being at road Atlanta or anywhere else though. But I can't complain to much I learned a lot there.
