----------------- The first qualifying session for the World Superbike class at Silverstone saw the British riders maintain their hold on the front row, with Sterilgarda Yamaha's Cal Crutchlow taking provisional pole by a comfortable margin. This morning's fastest man, HANNSpree Ten Kate's Johnny Rea, took second spot, while an interloper in the shape of Australian Troy Corser set the 3rd fastest time on the BMW S1000RR, ending the session just ahead of Alitalia Aprilia's Leon Camier.
