He may still be stuck at the border.

Since this appears to be the 2nd disappearance at the Canadian border... this might be a good website to see the culprits. Little thing might have been cut up and dismantled looking for contraband of any sort. Sniffer dogs may have been alerted to the "Parrot Poo" he might of collected on his hiny from one location in California which cannot be accepted into Canada due to the poo origin.... I'm thinkin he':s in a trash bin outside of customs...

Ninji got deported. He came back to my house today. This is the last time I ship UPS to Canada. Everything I ship gets flagged and they try to collect duty (whether shipping via company account or personal). They wanted $35. He is going back out USPS as soon as possible. The good part is I have him and we know where he is. I'm just glad I didn't need to order another one.

You'll still have to fill out customs forms with USPS... lol. Its like the iron curtain getting anything into Canada. The govt wants every penny in taxable items going thru and across the border. Claim as a gift and it just might get there without a problem.... lol (so much for the "true north strong and *free*" )

I know exactly how Ninji feels. I have been trying to get into Canada for the longest time and they still won't let me in. You think if I declare myself as a gift they'l let me in?

Damn customs nazis. $35 in fees on a 6 inch stuffed animal. If he doesn't make it through this time, we can always try shipping it to member in Washinton state and ROAD TRIP

Oh is that what those bastards call it now.... harmonized the 7% GST and the 6% PST = HST and they expect the population to take it better?? and swallow it easier?... lol what a rip..... U really need to immigrate JC...... seems more likely a Road Trip is inevitable or start the Canadian Division of Ninji 3.

I seriously concidered it... Your immigration laws are pretty tough though. I'm not a specialized worker or related to anyone in the staes. California looked pretty good to me when I drove though... Oh and I REALLY like have free health care. I don't bounce like I used to

There is many a "single" man down here J.... if u like him real good lol. Thats the only great thing back there is the Universal Health Care system, they who know nothing about it down here despise the idea most often from the propoganda disseminated by repubs and big business. God forgive those that do not know Cda health coverage nor understand it... lol.. Missin the boat so to speak..... other than that the U.S. is top notch!

If you become an underwater welder you will have a specialized skill and makes lots of money in the Gulf of Mexico.

LOL. I can think of a pretty boy up here who might be a little grumpy if I explored that avenue.

I made two road trips to Arizona this summer. I couldn't believe how much cheaper everything is down there from the gas to groceries to books and clothes. Jeeze with the money I could save I could get private health care... sad part is, that private health care down there still wouldn't be as good as our public health care. It really is a wonderful thing, walk into any hospital and get ALL THE HELP YOU NEED, completely free. No fighting with HMO's or insurance. Kinda does balance it out.

I seriously thought about it... but unfortunately the Gulf of Mexico is gonna be a pretty crappy place to dive for quite a few years to come

If you watch Michael Moore's "Sicko" he talks a lot about the Canadian Health Model. For all it's flaws, it's still pretty good.

Matt, it has been a while and I have not heard anything from Ninji. Will he be continuing his adventures or will he be hibernating for the winter?

Continuing. Hes been snuggled in next to my helmet since I got him back. We were prepping for inventory at work and I just hadn't been able to ship him. He is alive and well and leaving for jenn's this week.

I was just thinking it would be kind of cool if instead of shipping Ninji that we actually hand him to the next person.

You know, where possible take a road trip to meet the next person and make the exchange?

Or would that be too weird and awkward? And then we'd probably show up on some FBI watch list... bunch of bikers transporting "stuff" across state lines? Wonder if that's how the Hell's Angels started traffic'ing stuff. It all starts with a stuffed animal, next thing it's guns and drugs.

You could always ship it to Sailariel and i could pick it up and send it to JC as soon as i get home then we won't have to deal with the customs BS. They never check my truck.

Dude vs. Ninja. Cage match. 2 enter, only 1 comes out, with a pile of stuffing and fur. PPV available, call your local provider.

VERY EXCITING DAY!!!!

Ninji has finally arrived north of the border. After a long and exhusting commute, he made friends with the natives and settled in with a glass of wine. He was beat from jet lag and went to bed early tonight. More adventures to come this weekend.
