07 turn signals, OEM front and rear identical?

I need to replace my front left turn signal, and I'm wanting to remain stock. The cheapest I've been able to find an OEM replacement is $40 plus, but at a glance, the right rear/left front and left rear/right front seem like they might be interchangeable. I've found a right rear stock signal on ebay for less than $20. Anybody have experience with this?

Part of it is the same. The mounting part that attaches the signal to the bike is different front vs rear, but the actual signal is the same on all 4 corners.

It will work fine, you could even put the opposite side on. Like right front on the left front, but then the screw would show at the top, but that is actualy not very noticeable. I used a left rear on the left front then when I was able to get one cheap I changed it out.

I ended up finding one here locally from a friend that just gave it to me, all free like and stuff
