Attention Charlotte, NC and surrounding area riders!
Anyone interested in going on the newly paved Diamondback Motorcycle & Sportscar Route ?
If you've never been, here's what you've been missing. The Diamondback boast 12 mile of 190 steep, climbing and sweeping curves, switchbacks looping almost 360-degrees. Runs of S-curves and twists, not to mention amazing scenery. It's may not be the Dragon but the best thing about it is, no trucks and a 45 mph speed limit (50 mph on the BRP) Those who have been, know what I'm talking about. Can you say fun as H3LL ? Did I mention the Devils Whip? I'm getting this one in too! |

Lots of "great" roads in that area.

Count me in!
I haven't picked up my (project) Ninjette yet, so riding it is a few weeks away, but I'm game to join you on one of my other bikes. This is a really good route, and the restaurant at the top has Trout Croissants (!) as well as lots of other good stuff.
