XBR9 vs. ZX9R. Same price????

I am looking at two bikes
Same price
Same displacement

2000 ZX9R w 20k miles clean shape good tires needs battery

2003 BUELL XBR9. W24kmikes clean shape new belt tires etc

Both bikes look very clean . Have non stock color and decal schemes .

But otherwise nothing to imply poor treatment ?!

A lot of people will probably be down on the Buell just because they're supposed to be unreliable and hard to get parts for. But I'd go with the Buell. I've test ridden an XB9S (the slightly more standard version) a couple of times and I loved it. Plus it's cool to be riding something that doesn't look the same as everything else.

Buell no question. Early large displacement, pre-litre bikes are overweight, underpowered, and fugly as hell!

The Buell XB's were introduced in late Spring of 2002 and were merely refined somewhat through their lifespan, there we no major upgrades or changes. That being said even though over 11 years have passed, to this day NOTHING will TURN or STOP as good as a Buell.

I think you can't go wrong either way. They are quite a bit different though, depends what you want it for. Both beautiful styled bikes in great looking condition
