Thumbs up 4 Piston Brake Caliper Adapter Bracket Upgrade

Interesting Quote on your signature. Misti Hurst is a good friend of mine. She will be smiling when I forward it to here I'm sure.

BTW: The SV Racing Parts 4 Piston Brake Caliper Upgrade is an awesome way to economically bring your Ninja 250 or 300 braking capability up several notches, I like to couple the upgraded Calipers with SS Lines and a Nissin Radial Master Cylinder.

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair

I am sure she has seen it by now.

So your adapter makes it fit what calipers, an SV I assume, what years? Anything else?

There are two choices on 4 Piston Calipers to use with our bikes; First; The Nissin 4 Piston Calipers from the Honda CBR600 F4 - F4i All Model Years 1999 to 2006, the CBR 929 – CBR 954 Model Years 2000 – 2003, or the CBR 600RR Model Years 2003 -2004 or the Honda RC-51 years 2001 and up. The Nissin Calipers have 1mm larger pistons for a braking advantage. These are the calipers I use on my bikes.

Or; The Tokico 4 Piston Calipers from the GSXR 600 2001 - 2003, GSXR 750 2000 - 2003 and All Model Years of the SV1000, these are all the same Tokico Calipers,

You will need to let me know which Calipers you get, and I will ship you the correct Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets for them.

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair

I decided to see how much these calipers run on the 'bay, but I'm finding a pair of them - is this the part I want to pick up? Are all 4 pot Nissins the same, just like my carb was used on bikes from several manufactures?

May need to start accumulating the pieces to do this at the same time I upgrade the front springs for my 200lb self. More whoa is always a good thing.

If you prefer New Calipers for your project, I bring them in directly from Suzuki or Honda USA for you.

You will need to let me know which Calipers you get, and I will ship you the correct Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets for them, $49.95

I ship to internationally all the time so I am very familiar with the process and procedure to speed the parts to your door through customs at your end if you are not in the USA.

Shipping Internationally for the Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets as a stand-alone product is $23.75 including mandatory insurance,

I also carry and stock the correct superb Galfer HH Sintered Brake Pads for the Calipers, $35 per caliper.

The Galfer Rear Brake Pads are also in stock for $35 per set,

I always recommend starting off with new brake pads as we never know how the caliper have been stored or what may have been spilled on them over time,

As well I have the Lifetime Guaranteed Galfer Black SS Brake Lines for our bikes in stock.

The one other part that I highly recommend you order and install at the same time as upgrading to the 4 Piston Brake Calipers is the SS Banjo Bleeder for the front brake master cylinder at your brake lever; They are $19.95

i'm a bit interested, but i have many concerns. how was the part designed? what force loads are expected to go into the part? what kind of FEA has been done on the part? for aluminum, even 6061 after heat treatment... the bracket looks quite a bit too light duty to be trusted. what calculations were done when designing this part, and at what load will it fail? the part seems to be fairly under-designed just looking at it.

These brackets have been in use on SV650 and Vstrom bikes up to 1000cc for 8 years now without a single failure.

They will handle anything you or your bike could ever hope to throw at them.

Aluminum Brackets are used on Race Cars, with far more force than the bike can generate,

You are good to go,

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,

Thumbs up SV Racing Parts. 4 Piston Brake Caliper Adapter Bracket Upgrade

Alex, I have been riding and racing competitively since 1967, I started when I was 14 and I am coming 62 now.

I and my company and our machinists and engineers make many parts for the racing world, including these $49.95, labor of love parts, for my fellow Ninja riders and racers.

You can be 100% sure that these work very well and do the job that they are intended to. If you have personal concerns then you should not buy them.

Many Ninjette.org members, both 250 and 300, have and use the SV Racing Parts Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets and can vouch that they are excellent parts,

i promise i'm not intentionally trying to be an asshole, but your answers have been very disappointing.
perhaps you are simply a marketer and don't know the answers to the questions i've asked; but simply redirecting valid questions with "it's good enough" shows you either know nothing about the product you sell, or the answers are not what people want to hear.
perhaps if you could actually give people a reason to trust their lives to your part... rather than "here's a plate that i made that will let you attach parts not meant for your bike on to your bike. i have not done any math to confirm that this wont **** everything up. i'm also charging about a 20x mark up on materials. enjoy"

but yeah. sorry. i don't take kindly to people selling bunk critical parts. and if you can't prove it's not bunk, then it is bunk. i don't care if you haven't broken it personally yet.

Alex, are you trying to live up to your avatar title.

Why are you trying to debunk a known good product?

SV Riders and Vstrom Riders worldwide have been using the product for over 8 year now without a single issue.

This product is only on the site and available because well respected members of this Ninjette Community came to me and asked me to develop the fittment onto our bikes,

Are you not aware that brake caliper adapter brackets are used in many applications on many vehicles to improve the braking

Honestly, I don't need to answer to you and I find your statements rude and uncalled for; Especially considering that you have never even seen our SV Racing Parts, products.

Please do not post on my threads further.

is that really how you do business?

someone wants to know details about the product you sell and isn't happy when you come back with nonsense marketing, so you tell them to gtfo?

i don't think that is very beneficial for your PR.

Or; The Tokico 4 Piston Calipers from the GSXR 600 2001 - 2003, GSXR 750 2000 - 2003 and All Model Years of the SV1000, these are all the same Tokico Calipers,

If you prefer New Calipers for your project, I bring them in directly from Suzuki or Honda USA for you.

You will need to let me know which Calipers you get, and I will ship you the correct Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets for them, $49.95,

I ship to internationally all the time so I am very familiar with the process and procedure to speed the parts to your door through customs at your end if you are not in the USA. Shipping Internationally for the Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets as a stand-alone product is $23.75 including mandatory insurance,

I also carry and stock the correct superb Galfer HH Sintered Brake Pads for the Calipers, $35 per caliper

The Galfer Rear Brake Pads are also in stock for $35 per set,

We always recommend starting off with new brake pads as we never know how the caliper have been stored or what may have been spilled on them over time,

As well I have the Lifetime Guaranteed Galfer SS Brake Lines for our bikes in stock,

The one other part that I highly recommend you order and install at the same time as upgrading to the 4 Piston Brake Calipers is the SS Banjo Bleeder for the front brake master cylinder at your brake lever;$19.95

The Banjo Bleeder allows you to both initially bleed and maintain our ABS Brakes from the top at the master cylinder where all the tiny air bubbles migrate and remain trapped over time contributing to the spongy brake feel that periodically develops in our brake levers and making the initial install and ongoing maintenance of your brakes so much easier and quicker.

All of the higher end Euro Bikes Master Cylinders and All Quality Aftermarket Master Cylinders now come with the Banjo Bleeder installed in them as Standard Features; and now All the Japanese late model sport bikes come with the Banjo Bleeder installed in them as standard features for the same reasons.

Your bike and your brakes will Thank you for it,

Everything is in stock and ready to ship;

These are all excellent parts that will serve you well,

Let me know whenever you are ready, I will PayPal invoice you for the parts you want and get you looked after right away,

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair
