Welcome - if you are willing to do any driving try looking on CL or eBay for dealers near you. You might be surprised.

Thanks for the links! Ill be looking into the bikes. Im eager for the NJ BRC courses to come out so I can swap out my permit for my license! Then....happiness in its purest form.

I stopped by my dealer the other day. He saw that I was young and toyed with me. Offered a 2009 250R to me for 4,743 out the door. I walked out. Ive found another shop (among the 18 I checked out) How does 4,350 Out the door for a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250R sound? Yay or Nay?

given the price increase not too bad - I don't know what taxes and whatnot are in your area - but I bought my bike in WV when you couldn't find one anywhere for $4183 otd...

7% tax....sorry for not defining. OTD means OUT THE DOOR. After any and ALL surcharges are added, registration with the DMV, Freight and prep, taxes, etc..

$4200 OTD isn't bad at all on an '09 since it list for 3999 or 4099 depending upon color.

O.G. I had to respond to this one from a "Soulmate" $4200 OTD for a new 250cc motorcycle. We all say it is a great deal. In 1963 I bought a brand new loaded to the gills (Leather interior and all the whistles and bells) Corvette for $3900. It was a silver split window coupe. How the times have changed! Guess I am looking back--will be 67 in a few days. I have to do something really crazy for the big 67--maybe go for skydive #236? Will keep you posted.

heres the prices I got after research and haggling
4,226.5-toms river kawasaki and yamaha (Jim)
4,279-bucks county kawasaki (Morton)
3,900-Main street kawasaki (Joe) with tax freight and prep[I think this guy might be bsing tho....i think hes guna slap on charges later]
4,384-Mt. Holly kawasaki and suzuki (Patrick)

In case you couldn't figure it out the names inside the () are the people who I spoke to. Good luck with your purchase hope my research helped!

Edit: All these prices are after freight and prep an all that garbage. I told the guy tell me what I will pay you and then walk out the door. IF you give me a price and you charge me a dollar more ill walk out. :P Good luck homie
