My replacement airfilter cover/ battery box Strap
Hi All,
Not sure if anybody has covered this off before but my rubber battery box strap keep breaking due to ****** Kawasaki engineering so I made my own from a tiedown strap purchased at local hardware store with the metal clip cit off the old rubber strap and a bit of round plastic from a curtain rod also purchased from hardware store. Photos explain what the hell I did but thought it might help other pregen owners install a more reliable battery strap as mine hasnt broken, fallen off , rubbed against anything or snapped in over six months so I declare this mod a success.

Nifty! My strap broke about six months ago, and I've been meaning to do something about it, so this will be useful =).

I actually bought a brand new one a while back and it broke too prompting the engineering of a new one. Holds everything in place nice and tight.
