Pretty.
Did you swap exhausts to a 2010+? I thought they were chrome 08 and 09, and they switched to the matte black in 2010. |

Nice meeting you last night at SNS. Yeah I did switch out the exhuast because I think the black looks better than the chrome. But after hearing the Dan moto exhaust in person I think I am gonna get one of those.

It was nice to meet you too. I was on the DM website this morning, the exhaust is in my cart... I just have to actually hit checkout and buy it.

I went ahead and ordered the exhaust and baffle. Was about $130 shipped. Hopefully it gets here by the 18th when I move.

Wonder how much quieter the baffle will make it. We'll have to put yours and Joseph's side by side and compare; I doubt Joseph got the baffle.

I'm not sure how much/ if at all it will quiet it down or whether or not I am actually going to keep it in. I decided to just buy it now since it was only $7 and didn't want to pay for shipping from China again if I decide I want it later.

Front seat has the walmart seat cover from a thread on this forum it adds a little height and more comfort. The rear seat has the Fast pack bag on it. Unzips And expands to carry items and zips up to be a seat cover (like in pics).

I actually picked mine up at the local Cycle Gear a few months ago but they are sold a bunch of places online. I think it's worth it because I enjoy having a bag locked to the bike at all times in case I need to carry something unexpectedly but still able to zip down to where it looks like a normal seat cover when I don't need the storage space.

Got my Dan Moto exhaust delivered to my door this morning! Man the shipping was fast! I ordered on Friday, was shipped out on Saturday from china, and was delivered on wensday. The exhaust was packaged well (LOTS of bubble wrap and tape). I installed it with the baffle just now and it does seem pretty nice. I will have to wait until at least later tonight to take it out for a ride to see how it sounds when you really rev it. Installation was simple except for you have to drill the holes bigger on the bracket/hanger that comes with tr exhaust. I also broke the one bolt that comes with the clamp overtightening it and had to run to lowes for a spare. Between the weight difference and the smaller size compared to stock I like it so far.

Beauty of an '08 George! Reminds me I need to get out and really give mine a good cleaning.
Yours is the third bike I've seen with the Walmart seat cover, think I might join the crowd. Can't say enough good things about the Sport Demons, hope you love 'em as much as I have. Swapped to the sport demons after I I was done with the Dunlops around 8,000mi. Just replaced my front Pirelli after 12,000mi on the and am on my second rear (replaced @ 8k, 'bout half thru the second). One little heads-up though; if you swap to clip-ons, the front has a tendency to wobble around 40mph on ya if you let the bars do as they please. It's not bad, but can freak ya out if you're not expecting it. I really like your stem-nut clock. Where'd ya pick it up? Also curious about that accessory wire you have running over the frame spine up the dash.

Thanks for tr compliments. The walmart seat cover is nice it really does add some comfort and height to the seat.
The Sport Demons are nice! I'm still pretty new to riding so I am nowhere near the point where I can really test their limits but I can only imagine what they are capable of. The clock I have is actually a walmart stop watch I removed the cord from and added a piece of 3M double sided tape to and mounted on the stem nut. It has nice large numbers, backlighting, and stopwatch settings. I believe the cable you are looking at is the cable to my currently inaccurate gear indicator. It has the sensors on the left side of the bike and I mounted the indicaor on the right side of the dash so I had to cross the cable over the frame for the easiest setup. Especially when I wasnt (and still aren't) sure I'm going to keep the indicator due to the unreliability due to the sensors and magnet moving out or perfect position due to vibrations etc. |

Walmart seatcover is gone for now (most likely for good) because I think it was keeping me from leaning as far as I should. Thinking about playing around with my Jetting to match the Danmoto exhaust. I am also considering a front sprocket and maybe steel brake lines. I will have to keep this thread updated and add some new pics.
