The time has come
With great sadness the time has come for me to move on to the 600s. After one full year and 8k miles, I fill ready for one of my dream bikes, the Yamaha FZ6.
I promised the lil Ninja to a US soldier on his way home from Iraq in December. I couldn't say no to a soldier and not be a -. The time will give me a chance to say good by to her. I hope to find an 07-09 FZ6 with less than 9k miles for around $4k+/-. I'll keep you posted on my outcome. |

I had an 05 fz6 I really liked, but I felt cramped on it. Sold it for WAY Below book value. the 07-09 have had a few changes and are really nice. Can I ask, why a fz6 over a SV650?

If I come across a 08 SV650 for $3k or less, I'd jump all over it, and the same for a 09 Ninja 650/ ER6N for under $3,500. I also wouldn't walk away from a 05+ Honda VFR for under $4k with less than 15k miles. |

All great choices in my book!
Hold out and maybe you will get lucky at the last minute and nab your dream bike. I too sold mine to a lucky new rider trooper

I almost bought a FZ6 as my first bike but went with the 650R. First street bike that I rode was a FZ1 and it was comfortable but was my ex-girlfriend's dad's bike and a litre bike was just too much for a first bike for me. Only reason I chose the 650R is because I wanted a fairing bike and they didn't sell plastics for the FZ6. It is a nice bike though.
