People tend not to want to buy a heavily modified bike, it lowers value and puts you in to a very 'niche' audience so to speak. The only people who will want to buy this bike now are the ones who want these mods in this color of this year etc. $200 price drop a year later seems a bit slow but I understand not being in any rush to sell. Hope all is well for you and your growing family!

I really think you should consider parting out the "rear fender" tire hugger. That style is uncommon and expensive/difficult to import. It will not increase the selling price of the bike nearly as much as it would sell for alone.

iI would but I didn't install it... I had the shop that painted it install it. I wouldn't be able to take it off myself. thinking about parting the exhaust though. It's the quickest, easiest thing I can take off right now. I just really didn't want to deal with taking everything apart again though .

It looks like it's not notably more difficult than taking your chain guard off, which is something they expect every owner to do when they clean the chain every 200 miles. It's just a bit bigger and has a couple more bolts (the swingarm spools).

You have options: Take it to the next tech day and they can help you take everything off. You could even sell it locally and let your buyer take it off.
