Nose fairing.

How difficult/possible would it be to put a newer looking nose fairing on my '99? I am not a fan of the "boxy" look and was wondering what I could do about it rather than just get a newer bike. If this task is going to prove to be extremely difficult do I have any other options to make it look more modern or at least less rectangular in the front?

anything is possible, but it'd look silly unless you replaced all the fairings too.

Eh, I think the 1st gens look pretty good as streetfighters. Maybe ditch the entire front and just do a bikini fairing mounted to the front forks? That's pretty easy to do and there's a lot of pre-made solutions on eBay/amazon. The Acerbis ones, the GSX knockoffs, and those goofy ones with a Halloween mask and lights in the eyes.

Given that the pregen is a single beam, it would effectively block the light from your headlight.

The picture is only the inspiration; ..........the perspiration is on you.
