My Cafe Racer Build
We already have a 99 Ninja 250 in the Family. The story on how we got this bike; my nephew rode the other ninja to his girlfriends when her mom's boyfriend said he had one that was wrecked that he would give my nephew, so my nephew gave him $8 to get a replacement title.
I myself have done all til this point, waiting on my nephew and brother to get the rear wheel, tank, and seat pan painted then I can get it all back together. The finished tank and seat pan will be red. When my nephew loaded it on the trailer: In my garage and the broken fairings off: Taking the front end apart: A mock up pic with tank and seat pan: Another mock up, this time with the seat made: New Triple Tree, Forks, Headlight, and Turn Signals: Mirrors, Wheel, Custom Fender, Painted Pieces, etc: Ninja 300 Shock and Blue Collar Bobber dog bones; Custom Fender (Ninja 250 fender cut and custom mounts) Exhaust: Trail Tech Vapor with Dashboard: Brake Reservoir Cap: New Pegs: Custom Seat (HDPE plastic bended with heat gun, 1" closed cell foam, 1" upholstery foam, and carbon fiber look fabric0: Venhill Stainless Brake Lines (Carbon front, Red rear) |

I have a question... how the heck is the frame not tweaked??? With a hit that hard to the front forks I would think the frame is way out of whack. Did you have the frame checked? Just a 1/2" off is enough to make the bike unrideable. Other than that.. it looks great so far.
