My dog loves to ride

As the title states, my dog loves to ride. I'll start out with this one that was taken this weekend.

Went out to Plant City this weekend and as my friend and I were leaving, Biker's Post snapped a picture of me and my dog. It was posted up today, I thought I'd share:

Here are a few that were taken over the past few weeks:

Ready to leave the house:

This helmet seems a bit big for him, I think we may need to exchange it for a smaller size

The following are some screenshots from some video footage that I'll be working on editing together, I'll post the edited video in here when it's finished

And here we are chilling at the motorcycle dealership with my friend who works in the parts department.

More pics of the riding dog to come in future posts, that's all I have at the moment.

So cute1!!!! Such a sweetie: hope he has fun in the back of your bike. It must be an amazing feeling for a dog... like running really, really fast without having to use your legs

Too bad pit-bulls don't fit in bags, or my dog would be taken for a ride instead of a walk.

That is so awesome! I want to take my doggie, Killer with me but she's not fond of car rides so I don't think she'd like being on a bike very much. I'll have to mod a backpack and take her for a spin sometime and see how she does before I buy that incredible bag.
And I can't wait to see more of your puppy! He's adorable and looks like he really loves it!

This is Killer

hahaha, no. I don't think you'll find any carrier that's meant to hold a larger dog on a bike. Not to mention, even Gysbourne's 5 pounds moving around in the bag affects the bike's steering, and I have to slightly counteract it (it's a lot like counteracting crosswind, or a fidgety passenger). I'd hate to think what it would be like with a 25+ pound dog.

He's just a big baby. About ready to go in for the big "snip". We rescued him about a month ago. Someone's throw away. Their loss. Named him Chance.

It's a Miniature Pinscher mixed with a little bit of Shih Tzu. (The only Shih Tzu is his size, he's gonna be a big Min Pin, and some smoothness in the contours of his face.)

How big do they get? I might be looking into getting a medium size dawg until this old dawg of mine (see pic below) croaks. My dawg always wants to go everywhere I go. Racing, stores, and even dinner. Damn bitch!

Pure bred Min Pins are 10 inches to 12½ inches in height allowed, with desired height 11 inches to 11½ inches measured at highest point of the shoulder blades, for AKC standards, with an ideal weight of 8-10 pounds. He is already 9 pounds and is not quite 5 months old yet. The vet is estimating that he will be 12-15 pounds when he's done growing, which is where his Shih Tzu shows, as Shih Tzus are 10-16 pounds (but only stand at 8-11 inches tall at the shoulder blades since they have shorter legs than Min Pins). I was hoping he'd have more of a Shih Tzu temperament, but he's as energetic, crazy, and stubborn as a Min Pin.

My other dog has over 30k riding. My newest puppy has been riding for about 8 months. Getting up to 3 hour rides- she loves it. Martini sits in a small plastic container velcroed to the tank. I wear a tether around my neck that is connected to her harness to help keep her from falling off.
