gravel almost did me in

so i went out for some twistie riding today and i was coming around a corner and hit some gravel. the road was shaded by trees so it was hard to see if anything was on the road. The front end felt like it just slid 3 inches left and my right leg instinctively just kicked off the bike and i poked the ground with my toe.

i know its probably not as exciting seeing it from this video, but it sure was exciting in person.

didnt see anything happen, lol.

eta: i see it now.
the thing about gravel is to keep the throttle constant and not let off.
you can straighten the bike a little for stability.

i know you can straighten it before you get to the gravel, but what about when you are already in it? only thing you can do is just keep on rollin?
